Dr. Valentina Janev has been invited to actively participate in the work of the Gender Equality Committee of the University of Belgrade. In the year 2021, the first meeting was organized on the 2nd of February with the aim to discuss the new Law on Gender Equality to be adopted by May 2021.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the pinnacle of digitalization; AI is revolutionizing how we work and live. We now have more data than ever about our business processes, and Deep Learning, in particular, gives us the tools to create real value from our data. With AI, we can improve our processes' efficiency; we can improve quality or do completely new things by creating new business models. With AI, computers can understand audio and text in natural language, allowing them to create new user experiences.
In the context of the LAMBDA project, exploitation is defined as sustained or continued project activities after the end of the project. Exploitation is recognized as the key enabler for the success of the project, as well as a means to improve the partners’ competitive advantages. We distinguish two types of exploitation results - tangible or non-tangible.
The 3rd edition of LAMBDA Big Data Analytics Summer School was organized by the LAMBDA consortium partners – the Institute Mihajlo Pupin (PUPIN), the Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis and Information Systems (Fraunhofer/IAIS), the Institute for Computer Science - University of Bonn (UBO) and the Department of Computer Science - University of Oxford (UOXF) from June 15th to June 17th, 2021. Because of the COVID-19, the event took place online.
