Summary

This deliverable presents a sustainability analysis for the project LAMBDA (Learning, Applying, Multiplying Big Data Analytics), funded by "Spreading Excellence and Widening Participation" Work Programme 2016-2017. The project pursued two main goals:

  1. Strengthening the human capital, education, research and development capacities of the “Mihajlo Pupin” institute. The final objective is to establish the PUPIN institute as a Big Data & Analytics HUB that will connect and integrate scientists and professionals from the West Balkans and the entire region into the European Research agenda.
  2. Decreasing the existing European regional R&I disparity by fostering excellence in the Big Data Ecosystem areas, unlocking and raising the scientific profile of academics institutions from Serbia and the region while contributing to European progress beyond the state-of-the-art of related research and technology, as well as establishing productive and fruitful long-term cooperation.

As we are close to the end of the LAMBDA project, this deliverable provides the basis for collaboration that goes beyond the project duration. The LAMBDA core team is composed of four core partners

In the course of the project, the core team achieved excellent collaboration with organizations represented in the LAMBDA Advisory Board (especially the German National Library of Science and Technology), stakeholders from partners networks (for instance, the Bank of Italy or stakeholders from the energy community), as well as numerous Universities from Europe.

This deliverable builds upon the Deliverable 5.8 Sustainability Measures and Activities, Innovation and IPR Management (Plan), Action Plan 2019, Action Plan 2020), and the individual exploitation plans of LAMBDA partners (presented in D5.3 First Report on Stakeholder Engagement and Exploitation Activities).
