We are proud to announce that our colleague Marko Batic received the ‘PUPIN Best employee’ award for 2018.

The award “Captain Miša Anastasijević”, which is awarded to the most prominent companies, small and medium sized companies, brands, organizations and institutions, creators and individuals for exceptional results in business, creativity and social responsibility for the area of Belgrade, was presented at the Rectorate of the Belgrade University on 28th March 2019.
The second PUPIN - IAIS (Knowledge Discovery Department) Meeting was organized at the Institute Mihajlo Pupin premises from 11 to 13th of February 2020.
The team discussed the joint activities in 2020 and posiibilities of extending the cooperation after the LAMBDA project end.
The LAMBDA Plenary Meeting, organized at the Department of Computer Science, University of Oxford, had a goal to review the activities in 2019 and discuss the Action Plan for 2020. As part of the staff exchange between PUPIN and UOXF, a one-week knowledge transfer programme was conducted on topics from the VADA project.
We are glad to inform you that Dr. Marko Batić (PUPIN) presented the results of the InBetween project during a Webinar organized by EU_BUILD UP editorial board on January 27th, 2020.

Prof. Dr. Jens Lehmann, Lead Scientist for Conversational AI and Knowledge Graphs at Fraunhofer IAIS, presented an overview on current Conversational AI research.
Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft hosted the second "FUTURAS IN RES" conference will be held on November 21 and 22, 2019 and focus on the topic of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
