VADA Training at Department of Computer Science, February 2020

As part of the LAMBDA H2020 project (Learning, Applying, Multiplying, Big Data Analytics)[1], a staff exchange was arranged between the Mihajlo Pupin Institute[2] and the University of Oxford[3] in the period from February 3rd to February 14th, 2020. During this time, three PhD students working as Junior Research Assistants at Pupin visited Oxford, UK in order to learn about tools that are being promoted in the project.

The second PUPIN - IAIS (Knowledge Discovery Department) Meeting was organized at the Institute Mihajlo Pupin premises from 11 to 13th of February 2020.

The team discussed the joint activities in 2020 and posiibilities of extending the cooperation after the LAMBDA project end.

In the LAMBDA framework, the collaboration between Fraunhofer IAIS and PUPIN was significantly strengtened by different joint activities including research proposals writing, solutions design for future commercial projects, and organizing scientific events.

1st CognitiveEng-net Workshop, Sankt Augustin, Germany, 22-23 October 2018

Dr Valentina Janev (PUPIN) visited IAIS and collaborated with the CognitiveEng-Net consortium on 22-23 October 2018. The CognitiveEng-Net project is financed by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research for the period from 1.8.2018 to 31.7.2019 with the aim to prepare a H2020 proposal for the SPIRE call. The Workshop organized by the Enterprise Information Systems Department on 22-23 October 2018 was an opportunity for networking with researchers from  Germany and Poland.
