Funded by "Spreading Excellence and Widening Participation" Work Programme 2016-2017, the
LAMBDA (Learning, Applying, Multiplying Big Data Analytics) project pursuit two main goals:
- Strengthening the human capital, education, research and development capacities of the “Mihajlo Pupin” institute. The final objective is to establish PUPIN institute as a Big Data & Analytics HUB that will connect and integrate scientists and professionals from the West Balkans and the entire region into the European Research agenda.
- Decreasing the existing European regional R&I disparity by fostering excellence in the Big Data Ecosystem areas, unlocking and raising the scientific profile of academics institutions from Serbia and the region while contributing to European progress beyond the state-of-the-art of related research and technology, as well as establishing productive and fruitful long-term cooperation.
Being at the end of the implementation phase, this deliverable provides the basis for a sustainability plan[1] that goes beyond the project duration. Building upon existing measures (see Action Plan 2019[2] and Action Plan 2020[3]), it integrates new measures and metrics that support the individual exploitation plans of LAMBDA partners and long-term sustainability goals of the project.
