The 3rd edition of LAMBDA Big Data Analytics Summer School was organized by the LAMBDA consortium partners – the Institute Mihajlo Pupin (PUPIN), the Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis and Information Systems (Fraunhofer/IAIS), the Institute for Computer Science - University of Bonn (UBO) and the Department of Computer Science - University of Oxford (UOXF) from June 15th to June 17th, 2021. Because of the COVID-19, the event took place online.

This report presents a plan for sustaining LAMBDA open education and training activities. One of the major knowledge transfer events of the LAMBDA project is the Belgrade Big Data Analytics Summer School, hence the activities necessary for organizing the next editions of the Belgrade Big Data Analytics Summer School are presented. Additionally, the efforts and investments needed for sustaining this event in the short and medium term (5-7 years) are presented.

The 2nd edition of LAMBDA Big Data Analytics Summer School was organized by the LAMBDA consortium partners Institute Mihajlo Pupin (PUPIN), Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis and Information Systems (Fraunhofer/IAIS), Institute for Computer Science - University of Bonn (UBO) and Department of Computer Science - University of Oxford (UOXF) on June 16th and June 17th, 2020. Because of the COVID-19, the event took place online. Overall, more than 70 participants joined the online sessions.

One of the specific objectives of LAMBDA (Learning, Applying, Multiplying Big Data Analytics) project is developing learning materials. In the last two years project partners developed a series of learning material which is made available at the LAMBDA portal, see https://project-lambda.org/Knowledge-repository/Lectures. 

One of the main objectives of LAMBDA (Learning, Applying, Multiplying Big Data Analytics) project is to develop a series of Big Data Analysis training session and foster knowledge exchange in this area. This deliverable reports the project period from month 1 till month 18. In this period we have held commenced the first LAMBDA summer school which has provided lectures on cutting edge technologies following different learning modes e.g., webinars, lectures, hands-on sessions and demonstrations.

This document contains details about learning material developed as one of the specific objectives of LAMBDA (Learning, Applying, Multiplying Big Data Analytics) project. The reporting period is (M1-M12). The project partners developed a series of learning material during this period which is made available for BDA school participants. The learning material will be presented as OpenCourseWare (OCW) on a shared platform. In this deliverable, we report about one of the fundamental topics of the BIG Data hype namely Enterprise Knowledge Graphs.

The event took place in Belgrade between June 17th and June 20th, 2019. Overall, more than 60 participants gathered at the PUPIN premises to exchange knowledge and expertise in Big Data technologies.
