As part of the LAMBDA H2020 project (Learning, Applying, Multiplying, Big Data Analytics), a staff exchange was arranged between the Mihajlo Pupin Institute and the University of Oxford in the period from February 3rd to February 14th, 2020. During this time, three PhD students working as Junior Research Assistants at Pupin visited Oxford, UK in order to learn about tools that are being promoted in the project.
The LAMBDA Plenary Meeting, organized at the Department of Computer Science, University of Oxford, had a goal to review the activities in 2019 and review the Action Plan for 2020.As part of the staff exchange between PUPIN and UOXF, a one week knowledge transfer programme was conducted on topics from the VADA project.
The 2015 QS World University Subject Rankings places Oxford to the third place in the world for Computer Science (after MIT & Stanford) and the first place in Europe. The University was rated 5 QS stars, achieving top marks in research, teaching and innovation.
